YG’s New Group WINNER Will Debut in Korea and Japan at the Same Time

On October 27th, Japanese broadcasts including Sankei sports (www.sanspo.com) announced that YG’s new boy group, Winner, will make their official debut in Korea and Japan at the same time.

According to Sankei sports, last week, on October 25th, YG entertainment (www.ygfamily.com) got their new boy group in 7 years since Bigbang through the survival program ‘WHO IS NEXT: WIN’.

The winner team of the final battle was team A, and the members of the team are Seung-Yoon Kang, Minho Song, Jin-Woo Kim, Seung-Hoon Lee, and Tae-Hyun Nam.

Hyun-Seok Yang of YG said, “Winner will perform in the opening stages of Bigbang’s concert tour in Japan, and I wish that Winner could make their debut in Korea and Japan at the same time. Therefore, I will include Japanese song in their first album”.

Sports hochi (hochi.yomiuri.co.jp) said, “Yang of YG has confident in Winner that they will become famous in Japan even faster than Bigbang”.

Five members of Winner studied Japanese for about 3 years and they will make their first appearance to Japanese fans in November 16th.

The leader of the team, Seung-Yoon Kang, said, “I am really excited to visit all the places in Japan, which I only saw from movies and dramas”.
