Girls Generation Kick Off Their ‘Girls & Peace’ World Tour in Seoul

Girls Generation - 2013 World Tour

Girls Generation kicked off their world tour ‘Girls & Peace’ this weekend in Seoul. The girls performed 27 songs at the Olympic Park on Saturday and Sunday to start their world tour.

Seoul is the first leg of their tour, only performing there two times before, after which the girls will move onto Taipei in July then onto the US and South America.

This will be the first time the girls have gone on world tour since 2007 when they made their debut. Previously the girls went on Asia tours in 2009 and 2011.

During the press conference, Taeyeon said, “We’ve always talked about the possibility of doing a world tour so we are honored to finally get this started,”

“We are excited at the thought of meeting fans from all around the world.”

  1. Why isn’t Europe included in SNSD’s world tour? There a lot of European fans as well! I’m very disappointed about their tour schedule. I was very excited to see the girls finally decided to do a world tour, but they just forgot about their European fans…. :-(
Hope anybody can shine a light on this matter….

    1. They probably will. They haven’t announced European date yet. But Tayeon has said in the past they want to perform in the UK, so it’s possible they will go to Europe, hopefully beside UK and France. They could go to Germany, Spain, Italy, and Poland.

    2. Because they go to France and the company puts like ‘They stay in Europe’. Girls’ Generation NEVER touched South America and the southamericans (like me) are excited and waiting the confirmation for they concert.

  2. definitivamente estamos esperando la fecha de su venida a Sudamérica, soy peruana y con certeza afirmaría que seria uno de los conciertos mas esperados, emotivos y espectaculares por cada fans.
