SHINee and Super Junior had a special a special one-on-one visit all the way from America with fan Donika Sterling.
Donika Sterling is terminally ill with Charcot-Marie-Tooth. During her times in and out of hospital she always listened to SHINee and SuperJuniors music to keep her spirit up. Amazingly, on June 20th, Donika was invited to Korea to visit the SM Entertainment building and meet her favourite idols.
When meeting SHINee, Donika was greeted with doll, albums, photo book, pictures and Taemin even gave her his own bracelet. The boys also sang a bit of her favourite song Ring Ding Dong.
Taemin commented on the day “Donika came all the way to Korea just to see us. Her story is really touching. We were sincerely touched to hear that our music gave her such courage; we hope that she will remain strong in the future.”
Key added “Donika, we are so delighted to meet you and spend this special time together. If we are to perform in New York again we will certainly invite you.”
An excited Donika said ”I’m so excited right now. It is so nice to finally meet SHINee whom I only dreamed of and glad to have this great experience.” She also gave her favourite member Taemin a letter.
Donika is scheduled to stay in Korea for two weeks, among other things she also met SuperJunior on June 17.
9 of the members sang ‘Sorry Sorry’ capella for her and favorite member Siwon gave her a bible and a CD set of Super Junior’s 1~5 albums.

On arrival to Korea Donika had this to say “Korea is much more beautiful than how I saw on TV. I still cannot believe I am in Korea. I thank everyone who helped me to make my dreams come true. I don’t know how to appreciate anymore.”
