KARA has lost another member today, with the departure of Kang Ji-young following fellow member Nicole who confirmed her departure only a day earlier.
Kang Ji-young’s contract with DSP Media was due to come to an end in April and had mentioned previously that she could leave to focus on studying abroad.
DSP Media released a statement confirming her departure from the group so that she could “focus on her studies and acting career”.
KARA are still scheduled to carry on with their promotional activities with Park Gyu-ri, Han Seung-yeon and Gu Ha-ra in April.
