2NE1 Minzy’s grandmother, Gong Ok Jin, has just passed away on the 9th 4:49am KST due to a chronic illness at the age of 81. Minzy has headed down to her hometown with her family to attend her grandmother’s funeral. 2NE1′s schedule will be undergoing changes.

Back in 2009 on Minzy’s Me2Day on the 27th of October. She said, “With grandma ^^ Always holding me tight with both hands and telling me to become stronger; my grandma ♥” She also once said on a program, “Even though she’s not entirely healthy, she’s always loving and monitoring me.“ Attached to this was the photo above.
From the photo we can see clearly how close the relationship was between Minzy and her Grandmother. All of the staff at Kpopconcert passes their condolences towards Minzy and her family.
