After finally releasing their first single TaeTiSeo are basking in the success of their song ‘Twinkle’. A single which has turned into one of those songs you put on replay for the whole day. It has already achieved more than 9 million views since it’s released on the 30th of April.
What caught our attention is the totally glamorous and sassy fashion in the MV, stamping the sexy label right back onto the SNSD members. SM has finally spent big on TaeTiSeo and provided them with a very Christina Aguilera ‘Aint no other man’ cabaret inspired song, fashion and MV.
The girls were wearing several high end looks from designers such as Hong Hye Jin of the label The Studio Kwho is a Korean designer whom they have worked with before with SNSD’s song ‘The Boys’. In addition to that the girls were seen wearing pieces from Galliano line as well as GIZA x Joyrich collaboration, Moschino and Cheap and Chic.
We thought we would try and recreate some of the looks from the MV for a fraction of the price, but also make them more wearable.
Here are the 4 looks we created,
The first one is a day out outfit inspired by Seohyun’s geometric skirt. This look is definitely for those days when you want to look more edgy and cool when having lunch with gfs. I paired this colourful geometric top with a pair of comfortable leather shorts and a pair of boots to round it up. Pairing a busy piece like a bold geometric print with more neutral block colours helps tone down the outfit and makes it more wearable.

The second outfit is def a going out outfit with all its bling and girly-ness. I was inspired by Tiffany’s sequin ensamble. I paired a busy sequin top and again balanced it by using a plain black skater skirt which is very feminine. For accessories I went with a collar- which all 3 girls were wearing in this bit of the MV, a fun belt to add a bit of cheeky as well as sequined bow hair accessory. For shoes you can go glamorous with a nude pink heel with studs or for those of you who don’t like heels, a more comfortable option would be flatforms- which are very in at the moment.
